Halo Universe, United as One

So, I was speaking with my girlfriend the other day while I was playing some team SWAT on Halo: Reach.

She noticed that every dude on Halo sounds the same. Of course, she then asks me why the hell everyone sounds the same?

The Comeback

My comeback was pretty to the point, but in my eyes, it was the best thing I could think of.

I then said, "We speak as one, we ARE Halo".

We Are Halo

Master ChiefThis then got me to thinking, that's a totally true statement. Being a fan of the Halo franchise is something totally unique, sometimes even looked down upon similar to that of Star Trek, Star Wars, World of Warcraft and all that jazz.

But we are different.

We're a new generation of gamers. Instead of being separated, we hop onto our trusty xbox 360's, throw on our headphones (or Kinect), and speak with one another during the entire process. We don't watch an episode and then tell our friends about it, we watch it together.

We don't sit in front of the computer typing back and forth, we resolve the issue's right then and there.

So if you think about it.

We speak as one, we ARE Halo, because we decide where this franchise takes us. If we, "the fans", weren't there, Halo would cease to exist.

But it does.

Because we ARE Halo.

About Justin Lewis

I have been a fan of the Halo series since the first Halo Combat Evolved ever came out on the Xbox. Actually that was the only reason I purchased my Xbox and since then have been a huge fan of the Halo series. I own every game that has been released and also collect memorabilia.
